Brush fire along PCH in Oxnard quickly extinguished

A fire broke out Thursday morning in Oxnard along Pacific Coast Highway as Santa Ana winds blew in.
A row of trees caught fire on Highway 1 at the north end of the freeway near Channel Islands Boulevard. Traffic was blocked for a short time.
The fire is now out.
