Council approves map changes for Civic Center-area sewers

The City Council approved technical map changes for Phase 2 sewers around the Civic Center ahead of a Nov. 26 state hearing.

In more news about sewers, the City Council Monday night approved some technical changes to the maps for the Phase 2 sewers at the Malibu Lagoon area.

The State Water Board wants houses in the Malibu Colony, the beaches, and hillsides around the Civic Center all hooked into the city's sewage treatment system.

The Regional Water Board in L.A. will hold a hearing on this Nov. 26, then the assessment district changes go back to the City Council after that.
