GOP Governor Race Turns Vicious Between Hilton and Bianco
The two Republican front-runners are trading immigration attacks ahead of California's June jungle primary.
The battle between the two front runners for the California governor's house has switched from subdued to vicious, according to the L.A. Times.
Conservative commentator Steve Hilton has accused his chief rival, Riverside County Sheriff Chad Bianco, of coddling illegal immigrants.
The sheriff called Hilton, a British immigrant, a "fraud." And he said Hilton is heartless for denying others the same pathway to U.S. citizenship he received.
The two Republicans are ahead of the eight heavyweight Democrats splitting the vote for the June primary election. The top two finishers will head to the November general election in what is being termed a jungle primary.
