Limo driver carjacked at gunpoint on PCH in March
The L.A. County Sheriff's Department is only now publicizing a March 14 carjacking that began at PCH and Kanan Dume Road.
News of an unusual hijacking and robbery has been forwarded by the L.A. County Sheriff's Department. The incident happened nearly two months ago, but it is only being publicized now.
A limo driver was reportedly approached at gunpoint while arriving at the corner of PCH and Kanan Dume Road at 7 a.m. on March 14, 2026.
The suspect forced the driver into the passenger seat and drove him west, then up Morning View Drive to the corner of Meritt Avenue. The suspect then demanded cash, got out, and fled the location in a secondary vehicle. It's not reported if this was a parked car or an escape vehicle driven by an accomplice.
That's a very unusual crime for Malibu.
