Today's surf and beach report

Two-foot swell, water 7 degrees above normal, and L.A. County warns swimmers to stay out for 48 hours after weekend rain.

weather

Two foot swell, south-southwest at 2 feet every 15 seconds.

High tide was at 6:56 a.m. at 6 feet. Low tide is at 1:33 this afternoon at 1.5 feet.

L.A. County recommends avoiding the water for the next 2 days, due to the rain possibly causing nasty biological loads in the ocean.

Water is 64 degrees, which is 7 degrees above the historical norm. And, to top it off, there are jellyfish out there, according to lifeguards.
