After more than 1,000 miles, the first wolf seen in Los Angeles County in a century is approaching Bishop on her way back to Oregon.

Two months ago, we told you about the first wolf to be spotted in Los Angeles County in at least 100 years. She was heading south from Oregon, apparently with thoughts of spring break on her mind.

The wolf is now heading back north, after covering more than 1,000 miles in her journey. She's now heading up the Eastern Sierra, approaching the Bishop area.

Wolves were eradicated in California 100 years ago, but a pack of wolves moved south out of Oregon two years ago, and this one is from that pack.
